Rising Quickly - Kelly Sult and Prince Cavanagh

This week we are putting Team US Chia member Kelly Sult in the spotlight. Kelly hails from Erie, Pennsylvania, and has grown up competing in the eventing world. She rose to the upper levels on her now retired mount, Hollywood, with whom she rode in the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event.

When she's not competing, you can find Kelly training sport horses at all levels, or giving lessons and clinics out of Pennsylvania farm, New Horizon Stables. As her client base continues to grow, so does the potential of her young competition horse, Prince Cavanagh, better known as "Vinny." At five years old, he recently competed in his first CCI*  and can only continue to go up from there.

"I haven't pushed this guy, as he has taken it all and wanting to do more! He spent a whole year last year competing at training and this whole year at preliminary! He is a super mover and an awesome jumper with very bold cross country! He reminds me of my retired 4**** mount Hollywood," says Kelly of Vinny.

As a harder keeping thoroughbred, Vinny eats US Chia seeds in his daily feed regimen to help him maintain a good weight. Since putting him on US Chia, Kelly says he's filled out and is looking great. In addition to eating chia seeds, "Vinny loves to dunk his grain and hay, but after he eats his brain he will submerge his whole head to get the grain at the bottom of the bucket!"

We expect to continue seeing great things from this pair. Best of luck Kelly and Vinny!
